The samples are manufactured at the same time using all the same materials as the full size boards we offer giving a real-life look at the quality and standard of the product supplied. We use a high density PET felt giving it a more robust and durable feel and better acoustic performance. The slats are stapled to the PET felt using non-rust high gauge staples at regular intervals to ensure the slats do not move and remain in place. The finishing veneers are sustainably sourced and only the finest veneers are used in manufacturing. Our panels are very versatile – they can be installed vertically, horizontally and even diagonally to create real design features. Cutting of the panels is super easy – all that is needed is a sharp blade such as a Stanley knife for the felt and a sharp narrow toothed saw for the slats. Can I install Wood Wall Panels on a ceiling? The panels can be adhered to a ceiling. We recommend screw-fixing in this scenario. The panels are a great addition to help with noise travelling between floors – install using battens and cavity wall insulation to help deaden sound and insulation an area. Can I apply anything behind the Wood Wall Panels to improve soundproofing and insulation? To improve acoustic and insulation performance of our panels, we recommend the use of battens for installation and the addition of a 45-50mm mineral wool insulation fitted within the cavity (see our installation instructions for full details). Can I hide the edges of the Wood Wall Panels? The panels have been engineered and manufactured to show an exposed edge as a design feature. Corner trims could be added if a different effect/finish is required. What size are Wood Wall Panels? Our Wood Wall Panels are 2400mm in length and 600mm in width with a PET felt backing of 9mm depth and slats of 12mm giving an overall depth of 21mm. Each panel covers 1.44m2. Can I install Wood Wall Panels around plug sockets, windows and other obstacles? Our Wood Wall Panels are very versatile and easy to install. We recommend the use of an electric jigsaw with a small-toothed blade to make intricate cuts within the panel. Can Wood Wall Panels be installed in a bathroom? As our Wood Wall Panels are made using MDF and wood veneer, they are not waterproof or moisture resistant.
