Female figure Nayarit, West Mexico Terracotta 21 by 10 inches (53.4 by 25.4 cm) 100 BCE to 300 CE Ex. private collection, Northern CA, ex. collection archaeologist UCLA, 1950s-70s A tall standing nude female figure of the San Sebastian Red type. The expressive face is adorned with ear ornaments and a shoulder length coiffure. The arms rest on her abdomen and she wears white slip-painted upper armbands. Though the large arched feet stand firmly on the ground, a custom base is included (please see last photo). Price on request
