Birds Mouth Strap

Description When building a birdsmouth fence, you use special straps to create tough bonds between the different pieces of wood. These are called birdsmouth fencing straps and as you can see, in profile they look rather like a bird’s beak. These clever straps hold the wood tight as well as providing protection, and the best are always galvanised for extra durability. The straps are fixed firmly to the wood using two inch galvanised nails rather than screws, which work hard to secure the straps closely to the posts. The end result is practical, good-looking, and long-lasting.
