Description Sorbus ‘Autumn Spire’ A handsome, fastigiate form, raised from a seedling of S. ‘Joseph Rock’ which has a distinctive compact columnar habit. In late spring white flowers are borne which are followed by a mass of yellow berries with reddish centres. This contrasts well with the excellent reddish yellow autumn foliage. Deciduous. Grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil in full sun or light shade. It will reach a height of 4m and a spread of 1.5m.
