Description Syringa vulgaris ‘Prince Wolkonsky’ Common Lilac. A small tree of strong, erect habit which has heart-shaped leaves. It bears fragrant, reddish-pink to purple-pink double flowers in May or early June. Deciduous. Grow in fertile, humus-rich, well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil in full sun.
