I have bought two sets of these dresses (4 dresses total). The deer and plaid print are much thinner (still a thick cotton enough for winter just in comparison to the other set it is thinner) than the rose and black polka dot which is much more of a thicker quilted almost pullover material (definitely for a super cold fall or winter day). Both sets are super awesome dresses. Very soft and gentle on the skin and has stretch to them. There is also a button clasp at the back of the rose and black polka dot set to make a bigger neck hole. Definitely better quality than cotton dresses at Walmart in Canada. I would definitely size up if you plan to throw them in the dryer because they do shrink lots. After washing and drying the 24 month size, they all fit my 15 month old who wears 18-24 month dresses from Old Navy, Carters, George in Canada. The length goes quite a few inches below the knee which is nice.
