Double bowl Massim region, Papua New Guinea Wood Early 20th century 10 by 5.5 inches (25.4 by 14 cm); 12.75 inches (32.5 cm) high as based The two bowls of this piece are connected by a short handle and have zigzag carving around the perimeter of each. There are two other examples of this type in the Harry Beran Collection. One was collected early in the 20th century and made in the Trobriands (HB 320).
